Pre-school Gymnastics

Fun 4 Baby

Aged 8 weeks to about 18 months

These classes are designed to enhance the relationship between adult & baby, allowing them 45 min of uninterrupted play, away from daily pressures. Both can discover and learn the joy of physical activity for body, mind & spirit.

The structured sessions start with a warm up and group activity, then using large apparatus each of the skills of balancing, rolling, climbing & rebound, are explored, finishing with a quiet warm down. These activities can all be repeated & practiced at home. There are 2 types of groups, immobile (8 wk's +) & crawling through walking to 18 months.

£ 21 for 6 sessions.

Parent & Toddler

Aged 18 months to 3 years

These hour long sessions are for the under 3's, who are walking and accompanied by a parent/minder, working together, with an emphasis on fun whilst learning the basics of social development and gymnastics in a safe environment. The skills are learnt in a circuit using full-size and special small apparatus and various skill situations.

Pre-school Gymnastics

Aged 3 years until just before they start school full time

These sessions are for the older independent pre–school children, 3 years plus, under the supervision of qualified coaches and assistants. Again the emphasis is on fun, with the development of listening, self-control, following instructions, decision making and the gross motor skills through running, balancing, swinging and jumping.

We now incorporate the Early Years FUNdamentals reward Badge Scheme and the BG Pre-school Proficiency Scheme. Mark Pocock is an EYFun Tutor and can arrange training sessions for Teachers and Pre-school group leaders
